Kriya Yoga
Kriya Yoga, a type of yoga that came to the West in the 1940s after the book “The Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda.
In Sanskrit, Kriya means kri (action), ya (soul). It stimulates the flow of energy in your body, but also focuses on inner peace.
What is Kriya Yoga?
In Kriya Yoga, you perform what are called kriyas. You do this in a specific order. Kriyas are various meditation exercises and breathing techniques. In this way, you ensure that you find peace within yourself.
The meditation ideally takes place twice a day for an hour. You focus inward and concentrate on your energy.
Kriya Yoga assumes that you carry karma from a past life. Through Kriya Yoga, you purify this karma as quickly as possible.

Do you teach Kriya Yoga or participate in Kriya Yoga classes?
Unfortunately, you cannot receive a certificate to teach Kriya Yoga. Kriya Yoga is passed down from teacher to student. So it will be quite difficult to find a teacher.
